Liaoran Bo Re Tess Grey
Wisconsin - Zen River Sangha
Liaoran Bo Re Tess Grey belongs to Zen River Sangha in Appleton, Wisconsin. She took jukai June 4, 2013, and was ordained on December 5, 2014.
Her path prior to Hollow Bones included conservative Lutheranism, Asatru, ceremonial and chaos magic, frequent existential crises, colorful life choices, and a long stint of being a jerk. None of that was working out terribly well, though. She now maintains a practice and study of Stoicism alongside that of Zen and has mostly gotten over the being a jerk thing.
Professionally, she writes and works in training, process improvement, project facilitation and leadership consulting. She has a B.A. in Classical Civilization and English from Lawrence University and does not particularly enjoy soft bread or describing herself.
She does particularly enjoy people in general, writing and organizing, Marcus Aurelius, cephalopods, tabletop and computer gaming, crocheting, pens and paper, skulls in general, books, her two extremely patient partners and her two relatively insane Australian Cattle Dogs.
