Cyber Sangha Practice Program: Winter

Winter Practice Period

January 26 - April 4th (10 Weeks)

The support of a Sangha and a Priest Facilitator is essential for continuing training and deepening of insight. The Cyber-Sangha Practice Period is designed to provide a community of practice, guidance from a skilled facilitator, and an opportunity to learn directly from Jun Po Roshi. The ten-week online practice is based on the 5 Training Elements of Mondo Zen:

  • Sacred Stewardship

  • Philosophical Reorientation

  • Emotional Koan

  • Conscious Embodiment

  • Genuine Insight (Meditation)

Components of the program include:

Small Group/Individual connection with Priest Facilitator

10 weekly calls to support your practice
- 2 One-on-One calls with your Priest Facilitator (30 minutes each)
- 8 Group calls with your Priest Facilitator (60 minutes each)

The Essence: Facilitator checks-in with each participant regarding their 5 training elements. Find out what each person needs to support their practice. Provide clarity and motivation through state transmission in support. Group connection, support and wisdom. Celebrating success and supporting struggles for improvement. Q&A

Left to my own devices, I often have a hard time keeping up a rigorous zen meditation practice. The Hollow Bones Cyber Sangha program has proved to be the perfect support system, providing a community of practice, a forum to discuss how I can better apply Buddhist precepts, sharing and guidance from fellow students and priests, and even personal interaction with the zen master himself, Jun Po Roshi. I recommend it highly to anyone who seeks to transcend their ego and live life more fully and authentically.
